In my current city where am i in right now, there's a park with a huge disused submarine and we can actually go come inside and pretend to be a Navy. The story was, they took a disused patrol version of a Whiskey-Class Submarines, put it in a park, and used it as a public amusement of some sort. Any Question?

That looks like a lot of fun.

I had an opportunity to go through an old US Navy sub from World War II that's on permanent display in Cleveland OH, once. I loved it, but my gf didn't like it so much.

Neat. There's a naval museum nearby me called Battleship Cove that's got a battleship, a destroyer, a corvette, and a Balao-class submarine. For a fee you can board and tour all of them. There's also a small museum on shore housing two PT boats and a couple other small craft.
